All About Groove CRM

Groove CRM is now Scale.gg

Groove.cm stopped taking new members on September 3, 2026. Here is what changed, what to do before December 31, and where to go now.

What happened to Groove.cm

The short version of Mike Filsaime’s letter and the transition pages, in the order it affects you. Last updated September 15, 2026.

  1. September 3, 2026

    Groove.cm becomes Scale.gg

Mike Filsaime publishes the letter. New Groove enrollment closes the same day; groove.cm and groove.cm/signup now point visitors to Scale.gg.

  2. Immediately

    Free accounts lose the dashboard

Free Groove members can still log in and use the affiliate tools, but product management, page and email editing, and data export now require a paid plan.

  3. Ongoing

Four apps stop taking new projects

New projects in GrooveMember, GrooveBlog, GrooveWebinar and GrooveKart are routed to their Scale.gg replacements. Existing projects stay manageable.

  4. December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET

    Deadline for free accounts

Free members who have not upgraded by then risk having their data permanently deleted. Lifetime members are not affected by this deadline.

What Groove members said about the platform

Scale.gg is built by the same team, so the track record still tells you something about what you are signing up for.

Nothing can compare with the simplicity and functionality of GroovePages. I built an entire 7-page website with tracking and integrations within 3 days, and I'm a complete noobie at web design.
Elleya YazikovDigital Marketing Specialist
I freaking LOVE this platform. I'm no techy at all and didn't even know the difference between a domain and hosting. Groove makes it so easy, I can actually build a website on my own.
Chelsey JacksonGroove member
Got my 4th sale over the weekend and starting to build my list up from my landing page.
Trevor WoodGroove member
It's honestly easy to use and the community is helpful no matter how silly the question. This is my first funnel builder and I don't see myself going anywhere else.
Leo MendozaGroove member
54 minutes into yesterday's webinar update and I know I made the right choice. I love that they are a technology company and not a marketing company. You have a lifetime raving fan here.
Waylon ChavezGroove member
I could not thank Groove enough for the opportunity of learning how to design sales pages and make a profit out of it. Just dropping by to say a huge THANK YOU!

Questions people ask about Groove CRM right now

Is Groove.cm shutting down?

Not exactly. On September 3, 2026, Groove.cm announced it is becoming Scale.gg. The company, the founder (Mike Filsaime) and the core apps continue, but Groove.cm as a brand and as a general-purpose platform for new customers is closed. Existing members keep access under the new structure.

Can I still sign up for Groove.cm?

No. Groove's own signup page says new enrollment is closed. The only free registration still open is for affiliates who want to promote other vendors' products. New customers are directed to Scale.gg, which has a free account and paid plans.

Is Groove.cm still free for a year?

No. That offer ended with the transition. Free Groove accounts now have limited access, and the closest equivalent is Scale.gg's free account, which lets you sell digital products, manage affiliates, open a storefront, deliver courses and send invoices.

What happens to my free Groove account?

You can still log in, use the affiliate features, see your billing history and contact support. The dashboard, product management, page and email editing, and data export require an upgrade to Pro ($95/month or $795/year). If you have not upgraded by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM Eastern, your data may be permanently deleted.

Do lifetime members have to pay again?

No. Qualifying GrooveLifetime members do not need to renew. They keep their existing tools, receive free lifetime access to the Scale.gg replacement apps, and get eight additional apps: HDHelpDesk, FunnelMapper, QuizFunnels, PipeLeads CRM, PipeLeads LeadFinder, Invoicer, CalendarBug and LocalSpark. The December 31 deadline does not apply to them.

What about paid Groove subscriptions?

Existing qualifying paid subscriptions continue under their current plans. Access is matched to the subscription level, so nothing changes for you unless you choose to switch to a Scale.gg plan.

Where do I log in to Groove now?

At app.scaleplus.gg. The old Groove login links redirect there. Your existing credentials work.

Is Scale.gg the same company as Groove.cm?

Yes. Scale.gg is run by Mike Filsaime, who founded Groove. His letter describes Scale.gg as the platform Groove was always meant to become rather than a rebrand: the Groove apps that made sense were kept, and the rest were rebuilt as separate Scale apps.

Which Groove apps still exist?

GroovePages, GrooveSell, GrooveMail and GrooveVideo remain available for eligible members and keep receiving updates. Four apps only take new projects in their Scale.gg replacements:

  • GrooveKart becomes MyStore.gg
  • GrooveMember becomes Courses.gg
  • GrooveBlog becomes BlogBaser
  • GrooveWebinar becomes WebinarBaser
What does Scale.gg cost?

There is a free account. Paid plans are Solo at $395 a year (one product), Starter at $495 a year (14 core products), Pro at $95 a month or $795 a year (all 27 apps) and Pro Max at $200 a month or $1,495 a year (everything plus training and the mastermind). All paid plans have a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Can I export my data from Groove?

Data export is available to paid and other qualifying members. It is not available on the restricted free tier, so a free member who wants to take their data elsewhere needs to upgrade first.

What if I run an e-commerce store on GrooveKart?

Existing GrooveKart stores stay manageable for eligible members. New stores are created in MyStore.gg, Scale's replacement. Its Pro version, included in the paid plans, waives the standard 5% platform fee.

Does the Groove affiliate program still exist?

Free affiliate registration and the affiliate tools remain available inside the platform. Scale.gg also runs its own affiliate program for promoting Scale.gg itself.

Is there a community or support for Scale.gg?

Support access remains free for all Groove members, including restricted free accounts. Pro Max adds weekly live training, replays and a private mastermind community.

Are there any hidden fees?

The prices above are what Scale.gg publishes. AI features use credits: each plan includes some, and extra credit packs start at $25 and do not expire. Video generation can use your own API key so Scale.gg adds no monthly video fee.

Why does this site still talk about Groove CRM?

Because that is what people search for. This site was built to review Groove CRM, and since the platform changed its name, its job is to explain what happened to the people who still know it as Groove. Nothing here is written by Scale.gg or Groove.cm.
